Javier is the Head Chef at the Kerikeri Cruising Club and when its his day off, everyone else is working. We took Javier out for his first dive on the HMNZS Canterbury wreck & then a beautiful reef dive afterwards.

We thoroughly enjoyed the company of Ivan, Luke, Nick & Mark who are on a flying visit to New Zealand from Australia. While Ivan Luke & Mark had a Scuba Review, I was kept busy with young Mark who was keen as mustard to snorkel & “dive” with his family.

Howard & Mike are friends who go back at least 15 years. Mike is visiting New Zealand & whilst here couldn’t wait to go diving with Howard once again.
Mike is enjoying retirement from flying those big commercial passenger aeroplanes. The water temperature today is 20 degrees, viz around 15 plus metres.
